ECHO YOGA RE-OPENING 27th JULY.
ECHO YOGA RE-OPENING. JULY 27th. 2020.
We are aiming to open our doors on July the 27th. Your health and safety is our main priority.
We believe we are a small enough studio to be able to open our doors and keep everyone safe, while continuing to grow our community and share the wonderful benefits of yoga.
Our online classes will continue to run alongside our in-house classes.
Below is a bullet point outline of how things will work, and some of the changes we have made.
HEALTH & SAFETY/COVID-19 PREVENTION.
*All Yogis will be required to wear masks when in the studio, BUT you will have the option to remove your mask for your yoga practice.
*You will have a tray beside your mat, for your water, mask, hand sanitiser(these will all be wiped down after each class).
*All attending class will queue outside the studio before class, just as we have been doing outside supermarkets and shops these past three months.
You will be brought in, one at a time(or as a household if there's more than one fo you).
*In reception we have a new storage unit, where you'll store shoes, bags & coats. The storage unit will be wiped down between classes.
You will sign in with reception, no cash is being taken, card or online payments only.
*We will ask you kindly to use the hand sanitiser when you sign in.
The studio will fill up front to back. Once you're on your mat, we kindly ask you to stay there, unless you need the bathroom, please try your best to go before coming to class or right at the beginning of class so we can monitor the distance easily.
*Your teacher will be ready on the mat at the front of class, where they will stay through-out the class, no adjustments or hands-on contact.
Please feel free to bring your own mat, blanket and bolster. We will only be providing mats and blocks.
*We will wipe down all mats and props at the end of each class(even if you bring your own mat and props).
*All handles, surfaces etc will be wiped down after each class.
*Classes will be asked to leave back to front, so we can maintain a healthy distance between people. Leaving just as you came in.
*Once everyone has left. We will wipe everything down and let the next class in. *Please allow us time to do this, we appreciate your patience and understanding.
We know that running the studio like this stops some of the wonderful social aspects of Echo, so during the summer Josephine will be holding some special events: Saturday morning Yoga on Lancing Beach Green and possible coffee/swim, where we can sit and have a good chat afterwards(Government guidelines allowing)
