Echo Yoga and Sound Founder Hatha, Yin and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Meditation and Yoga Nidra Practitioner Sound healer, Singer and Sound bath Leader. ​ Josephine started her journey into yoga from a very young age, gazing at candles and holding strange shapes in freezing cold village halls from the age of 8. She came back to yoga in her 20's. Having her emotional and physical wellbeing beaten down by a career in performing, and training that did not cover mental health, she sought refuge on the mat. After her first class, the relief she felt was palpable. She has been on a mission ever since, to better understand the patterns of her mind, to find compassion for others and find ways to elevate depression and general feelings of loss and disconnection. In 2014 she trained in India, at the Vinyasa Yoga School, where she was taught by exceptional teachers. Her studies covered Hatha, Vinyasa, Meditation, Pranayama and the Anatomy. Since then she has added onto her training in Yin, Yoga Nidra, Pregnancy Yoga. in 2019 her love of yoga. meditation and music fused together in the form of Sound Healing. She holds well attended Sound bath and events through out the year. Her passion for Sound and the wonder if can do in terms of energy movement and healing is incredible. Josephine teaches from a place of compassion, care, and attention. She believes Yoga is a valuable tool, using the wisdom of the East to calm the maddening nature of the West. It is a brilliant way to access better health, wellbeing, and encourages a more mindful way of life. ​ In a safe, protected space, she will guide you through the practice with added attention to the breath, alignment and the inner voice.
